The shallow reefs surrounding Turneffe Atoll are the perfect place to explore and snorkel away from typical snorkel areas around Belize.  You will experience the awesome biodiversity with a tour guide that will point out features and marine life in the crystal clear waters.

About an hour and a half boat ride from San Pedro, Turneffe Atoll is the largest and most biologically diverse atoll in Belize. The atoll stretches 30 miles long and 10 miles wide. It is sparsely developed and the surrounding ocean waters and habitats are pristine. In 2012, the Belize Fisheries Department developed a management plan to protect the atoll, limit development and encourage sustainable dive tourism and fishing. SCUBA divers and snorkelers will find that the visibility is excellent, ranging from 30 to 45 meters (100 to 150 ft.) on most days. This is the place to enjoy large rays, Sea turtles, eels and schools of Snapper, Horse-eye Jack, and Permit. Due to its isolation, coral life flourishes. As one our customer put it: “It’s like diving through a forest of coral.” Specific dive site destinations vary.  Our prices are structured as: (price for the dive) + (price for gear if you need) + (12.5% tax) + Park fee.

This full day trip runs 7:00 am to 4:30 pm with 3 dives and lunch prepared by our favorite local chef!
